What is One Voice doing?

If you want to know what projects or work we are engaged in at the moment, you are on the right page.

Here you can find up to date information, including ways in which you or your group can be involved.

Advocacy Project

The Advocacy Project kicked off a few months ago. The project is currently accepting applications for training on advocacy from disabled people who want to become paid advocates

This is a really good way of getting back to work, as well as ensuring that disabled people have a service that is run by and for them.

Contact us if you want to know more.

Wheelchair Housing

Heantun Housing is looking at creating some wheelchair accessible housing and would like wheelchair users to help them design it.

If you are a wheelchair user, and want to get invovled, or want to know more, contact us

Bilston Link

We are commenting on the Bilston Link pans and giving access advice.

You can find out more about the Bilston Link here>>

If you would like to have a presentation regarding these plans and give officers your views, contact us>>

Interchange Project

The Interchange Project will create a transport hub with shopping and other facilities down by the train station

One voice members are talking with the planners and access consultant to make sure that access for disabled people is good.

If you would like to come along and state your opinion and help them to make the project accessible, contact us, so that you can get an invite.

There are some drawings of the project for you to look at if you want to get involved.

Directory

One Voice is currently updating the online and print Directories - Is there anything we missed last time? Do you know about any changes to a service? Let us know!

If we print the information or changes that you give us, we will thank you by name in the acknowledgements!
