The Disability Network
One Voice has been given some oney to develop the Disability Network, drawing more disabled people's organisations and individuals to us via a disabled people's network, so that when the funding ends, a wider number of disabled people's organisations will be kept informed of how to have a say about things that affect our lives.
A biiger one voice is a better voice!
The Disability Network is holding Health & Fitness events for disabled people over the coming months.
When we have talked to disabled people's groups, they have told us that access to sport, fitness, diet information in an accessible way has been a problem for them. So we have organised events at sport and fitness venues in wolverhampton: we will pay for your transport costs, offer a guided tour of the venue, pay for you induction on any gym equipment, and make sure you get accessible information on diet and healthy eating.
