Bus Changes

Bus Improvements for Wolverhampton City Centre

A number of bus services will use new routes and stops in Wolverhampton City Centre from Sunday May 16th 2010 to provide passengers with better access to shops and leisure facilities, the market and the rail station.

The following bus services are affected:

501, 510, 543: The routes (and stopping points) will be changed from the Chapel Ash
Island to Salop Street (CQ), Cleveland Street (CF), Garrick Street, Market Street (AS),
Princess Street, Lichfield Street (501 and 510 BB, 543 BC) Queen Square, Darlington
Street (BF, BG), Chapel Ash Island. The buses will no longer serve stops BQ (510), BH
(501), and BJ (543).

525: The route (and stopping points) will be changed to Bath Road, Ring Road,
Stafford Street, Lichfield Street (BA), Queen Square, Darlington Street (BD,BG), Chapel
Ash. The buses will no longer serve stop BL on Waterloo Road.

535, 682/A: The routes (and stopping points) will be changed to Waterloo Road, Ring
Road, Stafford Street, Lichfield Street BA (535), BC (682/A) , Queen Square, Darlington
Street (BD, BJ), Waterloo Road. The 682/A will no longer serve stop BQ.

512, 513, 514 and 515: The routes are unchanged but will no longer serve stop BA on
Lichfield Street. Alternative stops are Queen Street ZG (514/515), ZH (512/513), Victoria
street CA (512/514/515), Darlington Street BF (513)

126: The route is unchanged but will no longer serve Lichfield Street (BB). Alternative
stops are on Queen Street (ZD) and Victoria Street (CB).

504, 505, 506, and 507/A: The routes (and stopping points) travel through Waterloo
Road (BL), School Street (CS), Salop Street, Cleveland Street (CF), Garrick Street, Market
Street (AS), Princess Street (AU), Lichfield Street, Queen Square, Victoria Street, Skinner
Street (CT), School Street, Waterloo Road (BK). These buses will no longer serve stop
BC on Lichfield Street.

The letters in brackets refer to locations on the map of bus stops.
