Wolverhampton City Councillors
If you have a difficulty relating to a council service, your local councillor may be able to help you with the problem. Contact him or her by letter, email or at an advice surgery to see what they can do for you.
You can also contact your councillor by telephone or email or at their councillor-surgeries, to let them know your views on issues or council policy.
The Government is developing a mechanism for Councillors called The Community Call for Action – the intention is that individuals or groups raise issues with the Councillor who raises it with the service provider, who must then say what s/he is going to do in response. The aim is to involve more citizens in decision-making about their communities.
Wolverhampton City Council is currently governed by a Conservative led coalition, working with Lib-Dem partners.
The Cabinet posts are filled by both Conservative and Lib-Dem Councillors. More>
